I finally cracked it open last week. To my taste it needed some sweetness to set off the pumpkin and yam flavors. It was quite dry. It wasn't horrible by any means, but not worthy of a second try. I also had the MBTB IPA last week at Lil' Piggy's in Coronado. I liked it a lot. It was incredibly piney. The aroma made me feel like I was in the middle of a forest.
