This West Coaster article reports on analysis from National University System Institute for Policy Research that finds craft beer generated $600 million of economic impact in San Diego in 2014. This is double the amount of just three years ago in 2011. Job growth has been even greater than economic growth over the same, with craft beer employment creating or sustaining more than 6,200 jobs in 2014, compared to 2,800 in 2011.
