Sculpin

I had a Sculpin IPA from Ballast Point's most recent bottling with dinner tonight. I bought the bottle at Ballast Point's Linda Vista brewery two weeks ago. This was a great beer. It seemed much richer than the last batch. The Simcoe hops imparted a piney taste. This Sculpin reminded my of an Alpine Brewing beer. I wish I had bought more of the Sculpin, as I think most have been purchased.

I'd really like to give Sculpin a run next to Nelson. Probably my two favorite single IPAs right now.

One of my favorite IPAs, I still have several of this on the fridge.

Sculpin and Nelson are at the top of my list. I wish Nelson was in the bottle, but with Alpine's limited distribution it would still be hard to get. I think I may stop by Ballast Point this afternoon to see if any bombers are still around.
